ABERDEEN, Wash. – A couple from Aberdeen has won a $3.6 million Washington lottery jackpot.
Roger and Darla Sauer bought the winning ticket over the weekend. The couple says they have bought a ticket with the same numbers every week since the state started the game in 1984.
The Sauers have been married since 1974. Roger is a high school English teacher and Darla is an active volunteer.
The couple says they have no immediately plans about how to spend the money although they do have some charities they plan to support in a more generous way.
