"Salsa in the Streets" takes over Naches Avenue

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- If you're looking for something fun to do in Yakima this evening, the 3rd Annual Salsa in the Streets event will take over Naches Avenue in front of The Seasons Performance Hall.

You can dance to a live band. If you don't know how to dance you can take lessons there. It's only open to people 21-and-older.  Organizers expect over 200 people to show up.

"I think it's really important for the community. We love to be outside.. Normally we're an inside music venue but it's really cool and fun to bring it outside for the end of summer," says Ellie Strosahl with The Seasons Performance Hall.

Salsa in the Streets happens tonight on Naches Avenue outside The Seasons Performance Hall from eight to midnight. Tickets are $13 per person and you can pick those up at The Seasons box office.
