Central Washington football to debut new offense this season

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Central Washington University will open its football season at Texas A&M Kingsville this Saturday. The Wildcats will introduce their new up-tempo offense. They say that the no-huddle style offense is becoming more popular, and the Wildcats fans will really enjoy the new style.

"It's kind of the tradition across the country to be a little no huddle, a little up tempo. I wouldn't say we're the Oregon Ducks, at that level yet, but we're trying to play an up-tempo exciting brand of offense that we've kind of kept secret, but it's time to showcase that a little bit to see how we do down in Kingsville," head coach Blaine Bennett said.
