City Crews looking for pipe leak; shutting down irrigation main

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- A number of homes in Yakima may have to go without irrigation water for the next few days as crews repair a leaking pipe.

The city says homes near 12th Avenue and Mead Avenue are experiencing low water pressure and are shutting down the water to repair the pipe. The city says the problem is not related to the pipe burst that happened in the same area last month.

The shutdown will affect homes between 12th Avenue and Queen Avenue, and West Prasch Avenue and Mead Avenue.
