KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Ignite Youth Mentoring held their second annual Golf Buddies Miniature Golf Tournament Saturday.

It took place at the Canyon Lake Golf Course in Kennewick. The event raised eight thousand dollars for the organization that places Tri-Cities youth with older mentors. The event grew from last year with one hundred ten mentors and mentees participating.

Mentor Rick Corson says the program is a great opportunity to make a difference.

"It gives me a chance to impact someone's life and hopefully through my example make him a better person and answer some of the questions he may have," says Corson.

The organization is always looking for more mentors and is especially in need of male mentors.
