CONNELL, Wash. - The Connell Fall Festival is coming up this week. The Carnival and the Jr. Livestock show both run from Thursday to Sunday at Pioneer Park.
Starting Thursday night at 7 PM at the Connell Library, organizers will hold the unveiling ceremony of the Connell Heritage Project.
A number of events will be going on through the weekend:
- Open cruise and music on Columbia Avenue from 6 to 8 PM
- Teen Dance at the Pioneer Park Pavilion at 7 PM
- Dog-owner look-a-like contest at the Pioneer Park Pavilion at 7 PM
- Mystic Mirage Belly dancers performing at the Tumbleweed Motel at 8 PM
On Saturday throughout the city, festival events include a fireman's breakfast 6:30AM, the
Connell fun run, a kiddies parade at 10:30AM, the grand parade at 11AM, an art and flower show at the community center, and a street dance at 9PM.
Saturday at the Park, events include the carnival, a car show, golf chipping, Mexican dancing horses, arts and craft vendors, food vendors, a battle of the bands at 7 PM, and Connell Talent Idol at 2 PM at the Pavilion.
