Steven Whitehead taking training company to the next level

PASCO, Wash. -- A Tri-Cities Fever player will take his personal training company to the next level. Next Monday, wide receiver Steven Whitehead will open his brand new training facility.

Whitehead is a certified personal trainer and will host training sessions, boot camps and group workouts. Whitehead started his company, Elite Ambitions, last October. Whitehead says the new building represents a big step forward for his business.

"You know it goes to show that hard work tends to pay off. You know I'm nowhere near where I want to be. This is just the tip of the iceberg and I have a lot more things I want to accomplish. You know I don't know too many people around my age or many friends that I have doing what I'm doing. But you know I'm blessed and able to be in this opportunity to help others and that's one thing I can't take away and that's one thing I can't take for granted," Whitehead said.

Whitehead started his company, Elite Ambitions, just last year. It is a big couple of months for the wideout. In addition to opening up his training facility, Whitehead is expecting his first son to be born next month.
