PROSSER, Wash.  - Students, staff and community members anxiously gathered at Housel Middle School in Prosser today to see if the town was honored as one of the top 100 Best Communities for Young People in America again... and they did it! This year is the community's second consecutive nomination and recognition. Prosser School Superintend ant Ray Tolcacher says the award is confirmation of hard work.

"It's a confirmation that the work that we're doing in partnership with everybody, every organization, the school district, has been recognized as doing the right things for kids & making it a safe place for kids to grow up," said Tolcacher.

Prosser Mayor Paul Warden and State Representative Brad Klippert also congratulated audience members for their efforts in earning the award.
