BLAKE JENSEN: Despite temperatures near freezing this week high pressure through today will warm our temperatures up through the weekend.
We do expect a "dry" cold front to pass overhead tonight. There shouldn't be much, if any, precipitation with this event, but winds could kick up in critical areas where fires are still burning. Red Flag Warnings have been issued across the Washington and Idaho Palouse.
Smoke also is still a problem in those areas as well as the east slopes of the Cascades. Other than that expect mostly sunny skies today and through the weekend with breezes picking up slightly tomorrow. Highs today in the low 80s, and should remain in the upper 70s and low 80s through the weekend.
Today: Mostly sunny skies. NW 5-10 mph. High: 84°
Tomorrow: Breezy in places. Red Flag Warnings. Mostly sunny. High: 80°
