Coinstar and Redbox expand customer service from West Pasco
PASCO, Wash. -- Coinstar, Inc, the parent company behind the Redbox kiosks. is opening a new customer contact center in Pasco.
This customer contact center will handle inquiries for the company's Redbox DVD and video game rental, Coinstar coin-counting and new ventures including Rubi Coffee kiosks and Orango (popular value electronics at great prices). This contact center supports customers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland.
The company was originally started in Kennewick four years ago, but Coinstar, Inc.'s business has grown and required a larger facility. They are now at 90 employees and will likely double in size over the next few years.
The company selected the Tri-Cities area to locate the contact center because of the talent pool in the area, cost of doing business and the ability to expand and create jobs in Washington State and the U.S. "We love the employees that we're able to find here, They're highly skilled, very motivated, very loyal and they just produce great results. This is a great community to work with," says Paul Davis, the CEO of the Bellevue head-quartered company.
