KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Friday night on SWX, get ready for an air show. His name is Kylle Robertson. The Kamiakin quarterback will take on the Southridge defense. Robertson leads the Mid-Columbia Conference in all major passing categories. Last week's fourth quarter bomb led Kamiakin to victory over Sunnyside.

"It was awesome. The best part about the whoe thing was not the fact that he threw it or Javan caught it. It was the fact that I saw two kids console each other after a touchdown was caught over us, and Kylle, being the junior he is, went up to the guy and told him he was going to make a play, and sure enough he did," Kamiakin head coach Scott Biglin said.

"I think every game, there's a different thing you have to do to be a leader. I feel like in the first three games I've done my job as a leader. We still have a lot of games left this season and we still have a lot of improvements to be made," Robertson added.

Southridge's offense runs through Kadin Diaz. Last week Diaz helped Southridge overcome Kennewick with 204 yards on the ground. Southridge looks to start 4-0 for the first time under head coach Tony Reiboldt. He Is relying on Diaz to be a big playmaker.

"It was a great feeling," Daiz said of last week's win over Kennewick. "Obviously our line did a great job. They definitely worked their hardest. It was definitely a hard-fought game, but getting that 204 yards, I was really excited. As soon as Coach told me that, I was jumping up and down, thanking my linemen."

"Kadin does it for the team. He's a tough kids. He's a hard worker. When the chips are down, he's going to keep fighting. He's a great leader. Not only is he a good running back and a good linebacker, he's even a better leader and a better kid," Reiboldt added.
