Slow start for Tri-City Americans

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans are 0-2, not exactly a hot start on the Toyota Center ice. Saturday and Sunday featured two major match-ups with teams the Ams played in last season's playoffs, but the Ams had slow starts and lost to the Spokane Chiefs, and then the Portland Winterhawks. 2005 was the last time Tri-City opened the season 0-2. Now the Ams look to get back on track Thursday when they host the Everett Silvertips.
