October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Tri-Cities Cancer Center wanted to celebrate by spreading awareness locally.
Monday night the Tri-Cities Cancer Center held its 3rd Annual Let's Make Pink Just Another Color event.
Over 200 men and women showed up to learn about breast cancer, and get information on screenings and exams.
Organizers say the community played a big role putting the event together.
"It's just a great community event. This is such a generous community, and we're so blessed to have so many wonderful people who help us offer things that aren't offered in other communities and its all because of donations through the community," said Foundation Events Specialist Elizabeth McLaughlin.
At the end of the night, organizers lit up the entire building with over one thousand pink lights.
