Community input wanted for future of Vista Field Airport

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Port of Kennewick wants the community's input on what they should do with Vista Field. 

The Port is holding a meeting this Thursday to publicly discuss the future of Vista Field Airport in kennewick.

Alternatives will be developed and based on community input, stakeholder interviews, and other planning and data sources.

Ahe three alternatives currently being discussed -- taking no action, an airport upgrade, or closing it and redeveloping the one-hundred and six-acres.

The meeting will be held in the Bechtel Room at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitors Center Thursday, October 4th at 7 p-m.. and is open to the public.
