KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Kamiakin High School replaced Tammy Hutchison with new girls' basketball and softball coaches. Lane Schumacher takes over the girls' basketball program. He coached Columbia Basin College basketball, and he is the son of former Kamiakin athletic director Don Schumacher. For softball, Kamiakin promoted Tim Bisson from assistant softball coach to head coach. Hutchison led the 2012 softball team to a 3A state title.
