SPOKANE, Wash. -

Gonzaga's frontcourt is going to be good. That was never in question, with Elias Harris, Sam Dower and Kelly Olynyk. But with the addition of 7-foot-1 Prezemek Karnowski, some believe the Zags could have the best frontcourt in the West.

Like ESPN's Andy Katz.

Katz wrote Wednesday:

"Karnowski wasn't with the Zags at the beginning of the semester as he was still with his national team. But now he joins a fearsome frontcourt with Elias Harris, Sam Dower and Kelly Olynyk. The Zags have easily the top frontcourt in the WCC and arguably one of the best in the West."

Coach Mark Few reportedly likes Karnowski's ability to handle and pass the ball. He told Katz, "[he] is a lot bigger than anyone we've had."

Interesting, I say.

By the way, it's October. We're now less than a month away from the Zag's first exhibition game. It is Oct. 27 against Northwest Nazarene. And yes, that game will probably be on SWX/KHQ. The TV schedule has yet to be finalized, but we'll publicize it as soon as it's finished.
