A former Eastern Washington football player wants to win. Not on the gridiron, but on the stage.

Nick Denbeigh played safety for the Eagles after graduating from Spokane's Lewis & Clark High School in 2002. He even had an interception that led to a touchdown in the Eagles' win over No. 1 Southern Illinois in 2004.

With his football career now come and gone, Denbeigh wants to be a model on The Price is Right TV game show. He is one of the finalists in the show's online model search, competing against a guy from California and a model from Boston.

Denbeigh's plug on PriceisRight.com says:

"I lust for knowledge and wisdom, so I read at least 3 books a month…I'm a cool nerd. LOL. America, thank you for voting…I'm very humbled to be one of the three finalists in The Price Is Right Male Model Search! Stay well and blessed."

Online voting is still open. Viewers can watch the Price is Right on Friday to see who wins.
