Cabela's Outpost Store opens in Union Gap

UNION GAP, Wash.-- People lined up around the block this morning to get their first look inside the new Cabela's Outpost Store in Union Gap.

They opened their doors for the first time today after a ribbon shooting ceremony. It's Cabela's first outpost store in the nation and the company CEO came out to give a speech to the crowd.

The location brings over a hundred new jobs to Union Gap. People we talked to agreed the store is a good deal for everyone.

"Just look around! I mean, we've got thousands of people here and so it's gonna be a pretty good day," says Cabela's CEO Tommy Milner.

"It's gonna give our town considerable amount of new revenue," says Union Gap Mayor Jim Lemon.

"A store that has everything and is gonna be changing with the seasons," says Customer Jeff Dean.

Cabela's next-door neighbor JC Penney's opened on Sunday but they're holding their official grand opening tomorrow morning.
