Recovered Property Needs IDed in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- Benton County Sheriff's Office is holding an open house this week for theft victims to come and ID property recovered by deputies. 

In July of this year, deputies from the Benton County Sheriff's Office recovered over 250 items of stolen property that had been taken out of vehicles in the Finley, Kennewick and Pasco areas.

These items include electronics, tools, knives, cell phones, car stereos, speakers, hunting equipment, laptop computers and miscellaneous jewelry.

In a continuing effort to locate the owners of the recovered property, the Sheriff's Office is encouraging those who were a victim of a theft from their vehicle from the aforementioned areas in the first half of this year, to come to the Sheriff's Office on Thursday, October 18, 2012 between the hours of 10:00AM and 12:00 noon, to view the property to determine ownership.
