MATTAWA, Wash. - Grant County Detectives are investigating what they think is a homicide.

Grant County deputies say a hunter found a body near the 22000 block of Road 26 SW near Mattawa, north of a Fish and Wildlife access area about three miles southwest of the city limits.

Deputies say they do not yet know the gender of the body. The situation is currently under investigation.
