PASCO, Wash.- A winery
is about to release a limited edition of wine made to help raise money for
autism programs in the Tri-Cities.
Gordon Estate and the Carson
Kolzig Foundation host a wine release party 4 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the
winery.
Former Tri-City Americans goalkeeper Olie Kolzig
will uncork the first bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon to share with donors,
supporters, and fans.
Kolzig established
the foundation when he saw a need to support families and children who are
struggling with autism.
"He's done amazing things," says Gordon Estate
Branding Coordinator Katie Gordon Nelson. "We've got the Responding to Autism
Center that is an incredible place. I've spent some time there over the last
few months and they are doing great things."
Tickets for the wine
release party are $50 dollars each, and that includes a shuttle ride from Kennewick
to the winery overlooking the Snake River. For tickets call 528-4144.
You can also buy the limited edition wine, Spectrum, at the winery.
