PENDLETON, Ore. - Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal pickup truck accident that happened late Tuesday night.

Around 10 PM, officers say 55-year-old Eloy Garcia Andrade from Texas lost control of his pickup truck on Interstate 84, about 15 miles east of Pendleton.

Police say the truck veered off the road and rolled three times, killing a passenger, 49-year-old Carlos Pena Garcia from Pasco. Officers say Garcia wasn't wearing his seat belt.

Paramedics brought Eloy Garcia Andrade and another passenger in the car, 59-year-old Antonio G. Andrade, from Pasco, to the hospital with minor injuries.

OSP and ODOT say the crash is a reminder to be prepared for changing road conditions now that Winter is approaching, particularly the possibility of snow and ice on the road way.
