Americans go Canadian for curling

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans took the 'when in Rome' approach on their East division road trip to Canada. Do as the Canadians do. One activity a lot of the Ams told us they enjoyed on the trip was curling. Most of the players are from Canada, but only a few of them are curling pros, which made for a time to remember.

"It was a fun experience. I wasn't the greatest at it. My team went 0-3, but it was a lot of fun. The guys really had a lot of fun. I had a couple of wipeouts. It wasn't my fondest moment, but it was a lot of fun doing it with all the guys," goalie Eric Comrie said.

"A lot of friendly competition going on. You don't want to lose, but I prevented Marcus from going to the finals, so as long as that happened, it was fine with me," captain Justin Feser added.
