WSU Backs Out of Game Vs. BYU

Updated:

For any Washington State fans already looking to next season, scratch a game against BYU off the list.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported BYU decided to play Virginia instead of Washington State next September, but only because Washington State wanted out of the home-and-home deal with the blue Cougars.

Washington State lost to BYU in Provo this year.

Who will Washington State play instead of BYU? It appears the tentative schedule says Auburn, with the game to be played in Alabama on Aug. 31.
