PASCO, Wash. - Police in the Tri-Cities are looking for a teenage boy who officers say shot off a gun several times in the front yard of a home.

Around 11 PM, Thursday night, Pasco Police say the 17 year old had been threatening family members and then fired shots outside a home on the 600 block of South Owens.

Officers say when they arrived, they believed the boy was hiding inside. Police tried to talk him out, but had to call in the Tri-Cities Regional SWAT team.

Once they got inside, officers couldn't find the teen. Police say the boy is a convicted felon, and is on the loose, possibly still armed with a small caliber firearm.

Officers say when they find him, they'll arrest him for felony harassment- domestic violence and for a felon in possession of firearms.

Because he's not a legal adult, police aren't releasing his name, picture or description.
