Fever bring back three All-IFL players

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever welcome back three Al-IFL players. Thursday Lionell Singleton, Steven Whitehead and Jake Killeen re-signed with Tri-Cities. Last season Singleton led the league with 11 interceptions, Whitehead lived in the endzone with 28 rushing and 25 receiving touchdowns. Killeen had 9.5 sacks. The Fever players credit the management for why they believe so much in the team.

"A lot of teams, they try to cut corners. They try to do things to make money in the short run in certain areas, but Teri [Carr] has always taken care of us, and there's a reason why this team stays afloat," Killeen said.

"Coach Shack is a great person. I've been around a lot of coaches, and Coach Shack has definitely done his job well here in Tri-Cities. He's recruiting guys here, from everywhere else, and bringing us together, and becoming a winning team," Singleton added.
