Union Gap, WASH.--The Old Country Buffet in Union Gap revealed its modernized menu and look Saturday.
The Regional Vice President, Mario Lee, said they did a study of what people in the area want to eat and then fit the menu to their preferences.
Management said they think it's a hit since they went through double the amount of food they expected.
A portion of the restaurants proceeds went to the Yakima Schools Foundation, and one lucky diner had a chance to win the "Old Country Buffet Ten Thousand Dollar Dice Roll."
"Our founder always told us if you're not giving back, you're not a partner in the community so to us that's the most important thing," said Lee. "To give back to all these organizations, be charitable."
Management said they've hired 50 new employees and are looking to add even more.
Over 2,000 people went to the re-opening Saturday.
