KENNEWICK, Wash.-- It isn't even Thanksgiving yet, but people are in the holiday spirit and doing some festive Christmas shopping.
The Christmas Moments shopping event happened at the Benton County Fairgrounds this weekend.
Over 130 vendors filled up holiday decorated tents. The event offered handcrafted and commercial products, things like toys, decorations and specialty foods.
"We have a lot of folks who will leave, that might have come in kind of humbug and they go out feeling like I'm ready for the season. So it's really nice. We try to bring that to everyone," said LaVette Mehess, event promoter.
Santa also made an appearance at the shopping event saying hello to children and getting their wish lists.
This was the third year of the show and organizers say they plan on coming back again next year.
