Americans Reflect on Their Two Home Wins Against Kelowna

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-City Americans swept their home stand last weekend beating Kelowna each night by a score of 3-2. While it's uncommon to play the same team two nights in a row during the season, this month it happens two weekends in a row. Next the Ams play Spokane in a home and home. The Americans talk about their last weekend against Kelowna.

"I thought we played really well at times, at important times during both games. Slow starts I thought, both games, I think the players felt that way as well, I know Jim did. But Eric obviously did a great job keeping us in both games, allowing us to come back in the first game and get a great lead in the second game," said Dan Price, Americans assistant coach.

"You know we started slow this weekend, kind of like our first two periods there. They're not exactly what we're looking for, getting that first game over with and getting a win out of that first game was really nice," said Drydn Dow, Americans Defenseman.
