KENNEWICK, Wash. - A newspaper carrier was greeted by a strange visitor on his route early Thursday morning. Raymond Ordway said he met a pig.
A roughly 100 pound black and white female pig was found wandering in the area of U.S. 395 and 19th Avenue around 5:30 a.m.
"There was our paper carrier and he said 'do you guys own a pig?' And here is a pig with him on the front porch. And he said as he delivered our paper, this page came out and he was afraid he was going to hit it. So, uh, we don't own a pig. So we have a pig that is not ours," Lenice Nagel said.
The Nagel's are hoping the pig can find its way home. They planned on calling the Humane Society Friday.
