Tri-Cities Ski Swap and Snowboard Sale selling thousands of items

Posted: Updated:

PASCO. Wash.-- The annual Tri-Cities Ski Swap and Snowboard Sale is going on at the TRAC in Pasco this weekend.

The swap sells new and consignment winter sports items. Everything from clothing and boots to skis and snowboards.

They have over 20,000 pieces of gear and equipment at the sale and expect over 1,500 people to come out over the weekend.

Coordinators say the event caters to a lot to families.

"They'll come buying some equipment and then they'll out grow it. They'll put it up for consignment and then they'll buy something else. It just kind of grows. It snowballs into the forever that you get," said Matt Seward, sale coordinator.

Seward said they travel all over the state and the Tri-Cities sale is the biggest of the year.

Sunday is the last day of the swap. They'll be open from 11am to 3pm.
