PASCO, Wash. - Washington State University graduates the most nurses of any school in the state.

Now, thanks to partnerships with a number of local organizations, WSU Tri-Cities will utilize a state of the art facility to teach those nurses.

Nearly $3M dollars in donations will help to renovate the old Rite Aid building in downtown Richland.

"Nurses have to deliver that care that is so vital. So, that's why this project is so important. To see to it that we, in this community, have properly trained and talented and good quality nurses to deliver that care," said Bill Lampson with Lampson International.

Lampson International, Group Health Cooperative, Kadlec Health System and Lourdes Health Network. All gave sizable donations to this project.

The facility is expected to be up and running for the 2014 spring semester.
