KENNEWICK, Wash. -  A student from Kennewick at WSU in Pullman needs your votes for a chance to win a $100,000 scholarship.

Megan Hardy, 18, is competing in the Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway Contest. She sent in a one minute video about how she hopes to impact the world as an elementary education major.

Out of thousands of applicants from across the country, the Dr. Pepper judges selected her as one of ten finalists for the sixth and final round of the competition. As a top ten finalist, Megan has already won $2500 in scholarship funds, but now the voting turns to Megan's supporters.

In January, the five videos with the most online votes will go to the Discover BCS National Championship in Florida to throw a football at a target to compete for the tuition.

"Just to be able to have this opportunity has been so awesome," Megan said, "even if I don't win it, it's such a crazy opportunity, and it really only takes two seconds and every single vote counts."

If you'd like to help Megan out, you can vote twice a day, every day from the beginning of December through December 17th.

To vote, go to DrPepperTuition.com (or click here) or if you have a public Twitter account, you can tweet with the unique hashtag, #TuitionForMegan .
