Man Accused of Kidnapping Two Women Arrested

Posted: Updated:

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- A man accused of kidnapping two women this morning has been arrested in Walla Walla.

27-year-old Kyle Jamerson was seen by an off-duty College Place Police Officer near the intersection of University and Stanton Streets in Walla Walla this afternoon.

The officer called dispatch and Jamerson was taken into custody without incident.  He is currently being interviewed by a WWPD Detective.

Police said the women were in Jamerson's apartment last night when he became angry and began threatening them with a shotgun.

After some time had passed, officers said one of the women got sick and Jamerson drove them all to a hospital while still holding on to his gun. Jamerson sat in the car while the women went in and then called the police.

When officers arrived at the hospital, they found the suspect's unoccupied pickup truck and his shotgun.
