PUYALLUP, Wash. – Pierce
County sheriff's deputies haven't been able to identify two men shot to death by
a Puyallup homeowner who deputies say was growing marijuana.
Detectives say the
35-year-old homeowner is free while the prosecutor decides whether to file
charges.
The sheriff's spokesman,
Ed Troyer, says the medical examiner is conducting autopsies Friday and
checking fingerprints in hopes of identifying the men.
Troyer says the man's 9-year-old son who was inside at the time of the
shootout is with his family.
