UPDATE: Man suffers life-threatening gunshot wound

UPDATE: YAKIMA, Wash. - We now know the name of the man shot early Sunday morning. 

Yakima Police say 33 year old Rueda Valeriano was shot in the face on the 600 block of West Pierce Street. Paramedics brought him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. 

Officers say they have very little information about the incident, and are asking anyone with any information to contact Yakima Police.

YAKIMA, Wash. - A 33-year-old man was taken to a hospital for a life-threatening gunshot wound early Sunday morning.

Yakima Police were called to 600 W. Pierce Street just before 3:30 a.m. for a report of an injured man. 

There are no suspects at this time. YPD is asking anyone with information to contact them at 575-6200.
