Yakima, WASH.--Christmas came early for 200 little kids Sunday.
Victory Outreach Yakima teamed up with United Health Care Community Plan to give away toys to needy children in the area. The toys were donated by "Toys for Tots."
Victory Outreach is a Yakima church that focuses on getting involved with the community and helping others.
"Some of us have been more fortunate or more blessed and we can look at a Teddy Bear and say it's a Teddy, but to a child it offers hope," said Crystal Roa, a member of Victory Outreach Yakima. "It says that there's a little joy or a little comfort."
Members said Victory Outreach Yakima is always looking for partners to help put on events and donate resources that will help children in the community.
