SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane Chiefs fans came through for local children in a big way by throwing over six thousand stuffed bears onto the ice during Saturday's game against the Tri-City Americans.

The teddy bear toss was presented by the Spokesman-Review Christmas Fund.

Monday, the Chiefs completed the deal by delivering the bears to Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital and the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
