
SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Mead Panthers, still licking their wounds after a stunning 44-43 loss earlier in the week to University, bounced back with a 75-53 win over Ferris on Thursday night.
Mead (7-1, 5-1 GSL) trailed the Saxons (5-3, 3-3 GSL) after the first quarter, 20-15. But the Panthers poured it on in the second quarter, outscoring Ferris 23-10 to take a 38-30 halftime lead. Five Panthers scored in double figures, led by Jade Redmon's team-high 16 points. Jill Louthian paced the Saxon attack with a game-high 17 points.
