Tri-Cities Animal Shelter Need Donations During Winter Months

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash.-- The Tri-Cities Animal Shelter in Pasco had their Stock the Shelter Food and Supplies Drive Saturday.

More animals come in during this season, so they need the extra support to take care of them.

The things they need the most are dog and cat food, leashes, blankets and cleaning supplies like bleach and hoses.

"The shelter is running low and in the winter there's a lot more animals. The winter is just a good time to stock it and make sure there's enough so we don't run out," said Haley Softich, shelter volunteer.

If you didn't get the chance to donate Saturday and would like to, the shelter opens back up after the holidays on the 27th.

You can drop off the supplies there and even adopt a pet in need of a home.
