Camp Prime Time Holding Annual Tree Recycling Fundraiser

Posted: Updated:

Yakima, Wash-- Camp Prime Time is holding their 23rd Annual Christmas Tree Recycling fundraiser in Yakima for the next few days.

Volunteers will take the trees out of your car for free and they'll gladly accept any monetary donations.

Camp Prime Time is a place for seriously ill or disabled children to experience the outdoors with their families. This event usually generates about ten percent of the camp's operating budget for the year.

"Without this camp they would never get an opportunity to be able to go to a mountain setting and enjoy themselves and enjoy their families for the weekend," said Ralph Berthon with Camp Prime Time.

The fundraiser goes from eight am to five pm every day until January sixth.

There are two donation sites: one at Barnett Implement, located at 3110 Fruitvale Boulevard, and the other at Colonial Lawn and Garden, located at 1118 West Washington Avenue.
