Statewide Unemployment Rate Drops

OLYMPIA, Wash. - The statewide unemployment rate dropped in November but it was a different story in our local counties.

Franklin County actually saw a 2.5% jump in their unemployment rate last month, up to 9.8%.

Yakima County's rate also climbed by more than a full percentage point to 9.1%.

Benton County, Kittitas County, and Walla Walla County also saw minor increases.
