YAKIMA, Wash.-- A Yakima County Judge is calling for a larger-than-normal jury panel in the Tracy Culton murder case.
Culton is accused of first-degree murder in the deaths of William, Pauline and Elizabeth Goggins in 2010.
Judge Ruth Reukauf called for the special jury selection because of the high publicity surrounding the case.
"The very fact that they've heard of the case obviously doesn't lead to disqualification, but yet those who have heard of the case… We will need to be spending some additional time with," Reukauf said.
Kevin Harper was also charged with murder in this case but he was exonerated earlier this year, when new evidence came to light. He pleaded guilty to firearms and stolen property charges in October.
Tracy Culton's trial is expected to start in March.
