AUBURN, Wash.--For the first time Eastern Washington high school football athletes will play in the Tanoa Bowl. This Saturday the all-star game is at Auburn Memorial Stadium. It will feature Kennewick's Bodie Simpson, Kamiakin's Kevin Greager, Chiawana's Alex Webber, Walla Walla's Jonah Hoe, and Prosser's Danny Raap. There are a couple of games leading up to Saturday, but the big one features Washington versus Utah, Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The Tri-City Elite will also compete at the Tanoa Bowl. The Elite is the select group of local eighth graders from Tri-Cities and Walla Walla. The Elite's big game is also on Saturday. That is against the Washington Warriors at noon, also at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
