WALLA WALLA, Wash. - A man from Walla Walla will spend more than 35 years in prison.

A Superior Court Judge sentenced 43-year-old Daniel D. Dodd on Thursday for killing Kevin Myrick back in June of 2011.

A jury convicted him in November of first degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm. He wasn't allowed to have a gun because of a prior burglary conviction.

Sheriff's Deputies say Myrick had worked as a drug informant for them.
