SUNNYSIDE, Wash.-- Sunnyside police are looking for a man they say pointed a gun at two people in a local nightclub, and then fired it into the ceiling.

It happened at the Dark Horse Inn Dance Club, on Yakima Valley Highway just after midnight Thursday.

Police say Armando Ramos, 31, assaulted his ex-girlfriend, when a good Samaritan tried to step in and help. That's when Ramos pulled out the gun and fired several shots. Luckily, no one was hit.

"Anytime a gun is involved it always escalates things to the potential for injuries," said Sgt. Scott Bailey.

Police say Ramos forced the woman to leave with him, but officers later found her at  home, unharmed.

Ramos is described as six feet tall, about 270 pounds. Anyone who knows where he might be is asked to contact Sunnyside police.
