PASCO, Wash. - The new year is right around the corner and it is time to start thinking about New Year's resolutions.
Personal trainers at Broadmoor Fitness in Pasco have some tips to help you stay loyal to any fitness resolutions. Trainers say every year they have people come in and want to get fit before spring.
They say a great way to shed a few pounds is to start slow.
"If you're trying to lose weight reach for five pounds not for 30 pounds all at once it makes it difficult. But maybe also think about cutting out soda or sugar out of your diet instead of completely rearranging everything and providing a shock to your body. It's very important to make small change in order to change your lifestyle," said Broadmoor Fitness Trainer Melissa Fillmore.
Fillmore also says it is important to work out with someone to give you motivation.
