I-82 Closed Near Wapato Friday Night Due to 14 Accidents

WAPATO, Wash. - Icy road conditions caused more than a dozen accidents and injured six people Friday.

The Washington State Patrol said there were 14 separate accidents, involving 22 cars near the Parker Bridge on Interstate 82 around 7PM.
 
Crashes happened on both sides of I-82 and caused the highway to close for about three hours, creating a huge backup for drivers.
 
Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.
