Gonzaga Begins WCC Season in Malibu

Gonzaga begins play in the West Coast Conference Thursday with a road game at Pepperdine.

The game, at 6 p.m. (PT), will be broadcast on KHQ and SWX in the Spokane area. Fans outside the viewing area can see it on ROOT.

The Waves are off to an 8-5 start this year and are celebrating their 75th anniversary under second-year coach Marty Wilson.

Last year, Gonzaga swept Pepperdine, including a 72-60 win in Malibu.
