Independent Review of WSU Football Rejects Abuse Allegations

Posted: Updated:

PULLMAN, Wash. - An independent review by the Pac-12 Conference finds no evidence of player abuse in the Washington State University football program.

The review, released Tuesday, reaffirms findings of an internal review by the University's Athletics Department.

WSU President requested reviews by the WSU Athletics Department and by the Pac-12 on Nov. 11 in response to allegations of abuse by former WSU football player Marquess Wilson.

Wilson previously submitted a letter to the University stating the current football coaching staff had subjected him and other members of the team to "physical, emotional, and verbal abuse."
